Founder visits Triune of Texas
We had the founder of Triune visit and teach at the gym today. Professor Kendrick started Triune out in California back in 2005 where Professor Jimmy and Professor Alex eventually joined and got their black belt under the Triune banner. Professor Kendrick is visiting for our annual promotion ceremony this Saturday at Hewitt Park.

John moving out of state
When it comes to students quitting BJJ, there are thousands. Triune Represented at Jiujitsu World League, Dallas
Last week, Triune of Texas BJJ had a small group of competitors go and compete at the Dallas Jiu-Jitsu World League. Out of our youth program, we had four students go and bring back 5 gold medals. Everyone placed first in one of their divisions and came back to place in the top three in their second division as well (with one student placing first in both divisions). Student Highlight - Elijah Arroyo
This past weekend was a busy one for Elijah Arroyo. He competed at the Dallas Jiu-Jitsu World League on Saturday and at the American Grappling Federation in Dallas on Sunday. Out of both tournaments, he had 12 matches total for the weekend. He won 10 of those matches and brought home 3 gold and 2 bronze medals. Triune Competes at Tap Cancer Out, Austin 2025
Triune of Texas BJJ took its annual trip down to Austin, Texas, to participate in Tap Cancer Out. This year, we were awarded a banner from Tap Cancer Out for raising more than $20,000 towards cancer research in the few years we have been attending. On top of that, both our youth and adult teams brought home medals. As a team, we also took 3rd out of 70 teams represented (11 golds, 6 silvers, 5 bronze medals).
