Last week, Triune of Texas BJJ had a small group of competitors go and compete at the Dallas Jiu-Jitsu World League. Out of our youth program, we had four students go and bring back 5 gold medals. Everyone placed first in one of their divisions and came back to place in the top three in their second division as well (with one student placing first in both divisions).

The highlight of the day was when one of our students received her gray belt on the podium after just a year of competing. She has been dominating at the white belt level and decided to compete as a gray belt this past weekend to see how she would do, and she won her bracket. She still had no-gi to go but had hurt her fingers in the gi division. However, she pushed through and competed, taking third place!

Jiujitsu World League is a higher level tournament, so it's great to see our students rise to the challenge and bring home medals!
